Cool new Limited Edition Blue Piston Action Robot from
Comet Toys. With twin horizontal antenna. Very nice
variation.
Beautiful 14KT Gold Plated Piston Action Robot
Limited Edition from Robot Island. Can't wait to
get mine. Thanks to Jay Brotter for this exclusive
robot.
And here's the matching 14kt Gold Planet
Robot Limited Edition also by Robot Island. I
hope there's a golden Space Trooper coming
to finish off the collection!
The Mini-Mechanized Robot Pug done by John Rigg in
black came out so well we decided to do a silver version as
well. Awesome robot with self contained battery in back.
Amazing reproduction of Road Construction Roller aka Robby
Steamroller was made for me by John Rigg many years ago before I was
able to add an original to the collection. Typical Rigg attention to every
detail makes this an amazing repro. There's another site out there that
lifted & posted this photo of mine for years as an illustration of the actual
Nomura toy. That's how good this looks!
Cool new Metallic Blue Planet Robot by
Joe Moribito at Main Street Toys. Nice
custom box artwork and limited edition.
Classic Lost In Space
B-9 Robot by
Trendmasters toys was
made in 1997. There
were two versions
done with one being all
chrome. Robot is
about 11" tall and
there is also a 7"
version.
Trendmasters also did
a Robby the Robot
remote control robot in
1997 as well. Great
robot toy! I
Osaka Tin Toy Institute did a run of 7 different colors of the famous
Mechanized Robot back in 1991. Whe I first saw this photo I realized I had to
have all these robots. There have since been a few limited runs of other
colors including a metallic black, white, two different greens, and a special
silver eBay Limited Edition with the eBay logo litho on the back.
Carlton Cards did a LIS Robot
Christmas Ornament in 1997.
And here are the colors I had back in 1996 lined up after unpacking the
giant shipping box they came in from the Osaka Factory. I had searched
high and low for colors other than the classic black and finally had gotten
these from dealer Ray Rohr.
Rubber Stamp Mechanized Robot.
Another John Rigg Masterpeice, is this Robby Driver Robot. A
Robby drives this massive robot from within the center control
room as the pistons pump and scanners spin in the
transplanted Robby head way on top. Beneath the cockpit,
spinning LEDs high light the fusion engines. Shown with his
cousin PinHead Robby!
Robert Johnson of Comet Toys was kind enough to send me a robot as a gift. I
changed his head and the box artwork and when I was done, PinHead Robby was
born! Thanks Robert and hope you like the changes to this cool robot!
